REALITY 2006: True Love Sets You Free =)

Ps. 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret.

Desire for marriage deeply tests our understanding of the cross.
The cross of Christ means sacrifice. Waiting is a form of suffering -
the difficulty of self-restraint; the anguish of unfulfilled
longing; the bewilderment of unanswered prayer; the flesh and heart failing, soul breaking…

These are indeed tribulations,
and tribulation is the curriculum if we are to learn patience. We want answers now but we are required at times to walk in
darkness.
Nevertheless, God is in the darkness. We dont’ need to know the way, we need only to trust our Guide.

Don’t fall prey on wondering how to find marriage.
It is on God that you should wait: be alert, watchful, attentive; without agenda of your own, ready to do whatever is wanted
by the Master.

A spirit of restlessness and resistance can never wait,
but one who believes he is loved with an everlasting love and knows that underneath are the everlasting arms, will find
strength and peace.

God is in the waiting. Ps 18:32 It is God who arms me with strength and
makes my way perfect. PS 62:5 My soul, wait only upon God, for my expectation is in Him. In HIm alone lies your security,
confidence and trust.

So remember when the flesh burns with longing… the answer is with Jesus…

" Come to me and I will give you rest"

When you commit your desires to Christ, the desire doesn’t necessarily fade,
but it NO longer dominates.

And the joke on my fave saying

" If you love somebody,
Set her free…
If she comes back, she’s yours,
If she doesn’t, she never was yours"

got so many versions pala! =)
